An unconventional hidden-camera project for the Lexus Dealers Association that reimagined car buying through the lens of coffee culture.
Buying a car shouldn’t feel as complicated as it often does. For the Lexus Dealers Association, the goal was to make that tension tangible. The experience of buying a car was merged with buying a cup of coffee, two things people think they understand. A fully functioning coffee shop was built from the ground up and rigged with eight hidden cameras. When a simple coffee order started to feel like a negotiation, the reaction said enough.
